aye mates I apologize for all the fast changes I have been making ah and I'm also a little disorganized in the head so if you mates don't mind please post your feedback, suggestions (constructive) criticism here I'd greatly appreciate that.

Also, if you don't mind if you don't like something please tell me why, and if possible if you have an idea or solution that would be great too as we all have different ways of thinking and knowledge we're bound to have different solutions.

I finally found the tutorials to learn how to do this so hopefully by the end of this week I'll have the reputation system up and fully running. All that's left is to find the images :)So beer for + reputation, does anyone have any suggestions on what could be used for the - reputation?

Edit: Also, in order to change the image to the Beer for this forum version, I will need to find a time to work with Caroline or get her permission to log on to her account once more as only the founder of the forum is able to edit the templates and replace the images! Hence, this may take quite some time depending on Caroline's availability, please be patient!

What do I need to do and I'll do it as fast as I can when I can

admin panel-> display-> templates -> general-> viewtopic_body

hit the yellow edit icon and find this in your template:

now all you got to do is add an image.

to replace the text with an image you have to use html image tags.
so your code will look like this:

   <a href="{postrow.displayed.switch_vote_active.switch_vote.U_VOTE_PLUS}"><img src="url of your PLUS image"></a>

you have successfully changes the plus image
now the minus... same rules apply, but this is the code you edit:

   <a href="{postrow.displayed.switch_vote_active.switch_vote.U_VOTE_MINUS}">-</a>

now once you have done that you can save, then go to CSS

Code:

   .vote {float: right;
    width: XXpx;
    margin-left: 4px;}

you will have to add or edit the width class
